Welcome to Ibis RMA. The Reverse Mortgage Analyst User Log- In This calculator is intended for counselors on the HUD HECM Counselor Roster . You can launch the FIT system directly from Ibis through a link on the Navigator page. Other features include sticky notes, calendar tasks, and the ability to reassign a client to another user in your organization. If your client has a Record Locator Number , you can enter it on the Navigator page and info about your client and the products proposed to them will flow into RMA. An Ibis RLN will save you some typing and ensures you that your client has received a complete pre-counseling package either from your agency or a lender unknown to you. A sample non-borrowing spouse ("NBS") certification page has been added to Ibis RMA. As part of the HECM loan package it must be signed by any borrower with a NBS and by all borrowers who are not married, i.e., all single borrowers. SOFTWARE UPDATES: As per ML2019-20, the 2020 Nationwide Home Equity Conversion Mortgage (HECM) Limits have been increased to $765,600. For the period January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020, the maximum claim amount for FHA-insured HECMs will be $765,600. To apply the new lending limit that goes into effect Jan 1, 2020, select “Case Number will be assigned on or AFTER 1/1/2020...” on the Estimates pate. HUD counseling session Q&A tracking: We have submitted our first report on this new feature to HUD covering the month of December 2015. The report includes info on which agencies and counselors are using the Ibis Q and A form as suggested in HUD's December 3 Announcement. If you'd like to see the results for your agency, have your supervisor contact Ibis. 95% of the first ten questions are being marked as correctly answered. The weakest one is #4 at 88% "Does the money you get from a reverse mortgage ever have to be paid back?" Yes, it does. We're not counselors, but suspect the non-recourse feature is blurring how clients think on this question. Questions 11 and 12 on refinancing fared a bit less well than the first ten general questions. Questions 13 thru 16 on home purchase were answered correctly 100% of the time.
